USAG HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District commemorated the completion of project CY13 ROKFC IN-KIND Bulk Fuel Storage Tanks and Pumps (OS031), with an Acceptance Release Letter (ARL) ceremony in Pyeongtaek, Republic of Korea, Dec. 7.

Senior leaders from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District, U.S. Forces Korea Transformation & Relocation office, and ROK Ministry of National Defense U.S. Forces Korea Relocation Office (MURO) thank members of the project delivery team responsible for the successful completion of C4I090, a secure facility, at USAG Humphreys, Republic of Korea, Nov. 5. The new facility will support security operations for the Battle Command Training Center, which will contribute to increased security operations for USFK.

Far East District achieves a first for U.S.-ROK construction history

USAG HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District commemorated the successful completion of its latest project, C4I090, a secure facility, with an Acceptance Release Letter ceremony at USAG Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Republic of Korea, Nov. 5.

Engineers help to improve educational opportunities in Mongolia

Mongolia — In a country experiencing a shortage of critical educational facilities, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District is overseeing the design and construction of kindergartens to better the lives of children in Mongolia. Over the last three years, the district has partnered with the U.S. Embassy and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command to improve educational opportunities for more than 300 students throughout Mongolia.
