HARTFORD, Conn. — Smiles, laughter, and jokes permeated throughout a room in the Hartford Armory as seven members of the 192nd Engineer Battalion met with state partnership program director, Maj. Nick Raphael, to complete an after-action report for their recent trip to Uruguay.

Connecticut Guard, Uruguay continue 21-year partnership

HARTFORD, Conn. — Members of the Armed Forces Mission of Uruguay visited Connecticut June 14-17 as part of a 21-year relationship with the Connecticut National Guard under the State Partnership Program.

SOUTHCOM Commander Visits Uruguay, Argentina

MIAMI — The commander of U.S. Southern Command, Navy Adm. Craig Faller, completed a week-long trip today to Uruguay and Argentina where he met with each nation’s security leaders to discuss regional security and continued military-to-military cooperation.
