Richardson Looks for Ways to Deepen Cooperation With Central American Allies

BELIZE — The nations of Central America and the Caribbean must work together with friends and allies to confront the problems of the future, the commander of U.S. Southern Command told the Central American Security Conference in Belize.

Louisiana, Belize State Partnership Program marks 25 years

NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana National Guard and the Belize Defence Force marked the 25th anniversary of their State Partnership Program (SPP) April 23. The program links a unique component of the Department of Defense - a state's National Guard - with the armed forces or equivalent of a partner country in a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship.
